		<description>While I did not make it out to Apo Island, I understand that the electricity is shut off every evening around 10pm or so, and the overall accomodations are quite rustic, even when compared with some of the lower-end hotels in Dumaguete.  Of course, I think this is perhaps one of the alluring qualities of Apo, and certainly sounds like a place you can go to escape...literally.</description>
