Corregidor is this tadpole-shaped island 48 km west of Manila. This place played an important role during WWII. It’s where the American-Filipino soldiers fought so hard to keep the Philippines from falling into the hands of the Japanese. The defeat came in May 1942.
Located in Ortigas Ave, Mandaluyong, Edsa Shangri-La Manila is the only five-star hotel in Mandaluyong. This hotel’s twin towers have 632 rooms with a view of the Manila skyline or Edsa’s tropical garden.
Just about a five-hour drive from the busy City of Manila is a hidden wonder the Philippines is very proud of. Located in Alaminos, in the province of Pangasinan, is the Hundred Islands National Park. It is the First National Park in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
Metro Manila is a very busy and crowded city. There are many ways to get from point A to point B. To get around the city you can either take a bus, taxicab, their famous jeepney or a tricycle.
